How to get to IOM

The IOM is located at the Science Park, Permoserstr. 15, in Leipzig, district Sellerhausen.

Access by car

Leave motorway A14 (Schkeuditzer Kreuz / Dresden) at exit "Leipzig Ost" and follow the direction to Leipzig. Travel straight ahead on Permoserstrasse. After approx. 4.5 km turn right to the main entrance of the Science Park. Please contact the gate-keeper to find the respective IOM building.

Access by plane or train, local traffic

Arriving on the Airport Leipzig-Halle, you may go by taxi directly to the institute (ca. 20 min, ca. 35,-€) or take the DB-RegionalExpress (train) to the Main Station of Leipzig.
From Main Station take tramway 3 (direction "Taucha") or 13 (direction “Sommerfeld”), the tram stop is in front of the Main Station. Leave the tram at the stop "Permoser/Torgauer Straße" (12 min, 7 stops). Cross the Torgauer Straße and walk along the Permoserstraße, after about 5 minutes you reach the main entrance of the Science Park on the left. Please contact the gate-keeper to find the respective IOM building.

The bus 90 (Lindenthal - Möckern - Paunsdorf) stops in front of the main entrance (bus stop “Leonhard-Frank-Strasse”).
