ESF Nachwuchsforschergruppe „Applied and Theoretical Molecular Electrochemistry as key for Novel Technologies ain the Field of Energy Conversion and Storage”

Main objective of the ESF young researchers group is the development and optimization of novel concepts in the fields of a) dye sensitized solar cells b) ionic liquids c) solid acid fuel cells and d) energy conversion and storage by photochemical catalytic water cleavage. These aims include both the development of cost-reduceding materials and  the improvment of the energy conversion efficiencies by novel systems. The interdisciplinary project brings together young researchers from different fields of chemistry in ordert o achieve synergistic effects.

Finally the established  concepts shall be implented in the next generation of environmently-friendly energy conversion technologies in collaboration with industrial partners.
