Microreplication techniques - Technology transfer from P2P/R2R impressions to cryoprinting

Microstructure transfer in polymer materials in roll-to-roll (R2R) process from a rotating cylinder as film coating to pilot plants (web width 600 mm), in UV injection moulding process (plate-to-plate (P2P) for the production of microstructured film materials on both sides and in cryoprinting (inverse 3D printing)

  • Fields of application: microstructured polymer surfaces with defined optics, haptics, flow properties, wetting properties, microfluidics, disposable sensors
  • Adjustable optical and mechanical material properties
  • Technological basis: UV replication
