- Compensation in accordance with TV-L EG 13
- Participation in the company pension scheme (VBL)
- Flexible working hours (26.7 hours/week)
- A wide range of offerings to support work-life balance
- Assistance in securing a place at a kindergarten, free parking spaces, and capital-forming benefits
Your tasks:
- Successfully completed university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in chemistry, materials science, nanosciences or a comparable scientific discipline
- Generation of NV centers in diamond by electron irradiation
- Implementation and investigation of suitable surface modifications of ruby and diamond particles
- Structural and chemical characterization of the synthesized and modified materials
- Investigation of the luminescence and fluorescence properties of the materials
- Performance and analysis of fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) measurements
- Investigation of the magnetic-field dependence of the fluorescence response of NV centers
- Investigation of the temperature dependence of the fluorescence properties of ruby and diamond materials
- Performance and further development of optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) measurements for the characterization of NV centers
