The Graduate Academy Leipzig is the central service facility of the University of Leipzig for the promotion of young scientists. Under the roof of the "Graduate Center Mathematics/Computer Science and Natural Sciences" there, the IOM is in close cooperation with the Graduate Academy. All IOM PhD students and postdocs have access to the extensive interdisciplinary qualification program of the Competence School. The skill development program aims at a differentiated strengthening of the competence profile of young researchers and the planning of the next career steps.

The preliminary "checklist" for the registration for the module and workshop offers:
- Registration on the doctoral list of the respective faculty of the University of Leipzig (or another university)
- The "Mentoring Agreement" with the IOM
The event portal provides an overview of the current workshop offerings at Graduate Academy. Please remember to register in time (possible from one month before the event starts)! Active and regular participation is a prerequisite for receiving the ECTS points offered.
Also, a registration for the RAL's monthly newsletter is highly recommended! For international doctoral students there is also the possibility to participate in German courses throughout the year (own financial contribution).
