Plane or Train
The nearest airport is Leipzig-Halle. From there please take a taxi to the institute (approx. 42 Euro) or the S-Bahn S5/S5X to Leipzig Central Station (every 30 min. daily/ approx. 13 Euro).
At Leipzig Central Station go to the tram station, track 2. Take tram lines nr. 3 (direction: Taucha) or 3E (direction: Sommerfeld) and exit at stop “Permoser/Torgauer Straße” (tram takes 12 minutes, 7th stop). Cross ‘Torgauer Straße’ and follow ‘Permoser Straße’ until, after about 5 Minutes, you find the entrance to the “Wissenschaftspark” on the left. Please sign in at the gate. You will receive a map of the “Wissenschaftspark”.
Further public transport: Next to the entrance of the science park bus lines 77 and 90 stop at station “Leonhard-Frank-Straße”.
Car
Leave motorway A14 at exit "Leipzig-Nordost" and turn follow the direction to Leipzig Zentrum (City Centre) in the "Torgauer Straße" or leave motorway A14 at exit "Leipzig-Ost" and follow the direction to Leipzig Zentrum (City Centre) in the "Permoserstraße".

From Airport Leipzig/Halle to Leipzig you cross travel zones 163, 162 and 110. You need a train ticket for three zones.
One-way tickets (valid for 1.5 hours) or day tickets (valid for 24 hours) for 3 tariff zones are available. You can find more about tikets and tariffs here.
