The Festival of the Future is all about the question: "How do we want to live, dwell, work and play in Leipzig in 2030?" To this end, the entire urban community is called upon to make ideas and concrete measures for a livable, green and healthy city visible and to build Germany's first Future Forest as a symbolic sign of the urban community.
April 21, 2023 in the Passagen: Companies show their contribution to a sustainable and climate-neutral Leipzig. The IOM also presents itself with an exhibitor on the topic "Removal of micro pollutants from water with functionalized membrane filters".
April 22, 2023 on the market square: Celebrating, eating and living in the year 2030. Germany's largest forest of the future is created. Colorful stage program with orchestra of the Musikalische Komödie, choirs, ballet, discussion rounds with Lord Mayor Burkhard Jung, bands, children's fun, competitions and award ceremonies.
