This year's IOM Day took place yesterday, 12 June, and began with an institute meeting at which the Executive Board, the Works Council and other internal committees provided information on various IOM topics. Afterwards, the staff had the opportunity to visit various laboratories in the research departments to gain an insight into the work of others and to exchange ideas with colleagues. The cosy part of the day followed with the summer party. With plenty of food and drink, everyone had a good opportunity to get together, chat in private, get to know each other better and strengthen the feeling of togetherness. There was also plenty of sporting activity in the form of table tennis. The whole day was pleasant, relaxed and positive.
