We are pleased to announce that Dr. Agnes Schulze, head of the Surfaces of Porous Membrane Filters research department at the Leibniz Institut of Surface Engineering (IOM), has successfully completed her Habilitation in Chemical Technology at Leipzig University in Germany.

The Habilitation is one of the highest academic qualifications in the German university system, acknowledging Dr. Schulze’s proven expertise and ability to teach and conduct independent research at the professorial level. This achievement highlights the strong academic bond between the Leibniz Institut of Surface Engineering (IOM) and the Leipzig University and underlines the excellence of our researchers in bridging fundamental and applied science.
