Modelling is made for you!

The IOM invites to a series of lectures on the topic of ‘Modelling and Simulation’. Experts from various institutions have been won for the lectures.

Recent progress in machine learning and AI led to increased awareness of the field of modelling and simulation in chemistry and physics. However, woman in leading positions in these scientific fields remain significantly underrepresented. Funding programs, such as the Leibniz Program for Women Professors, have been established to improve this situation. To encourage students and young researchers to pursue a career in the field of modelling and simulation, outstanding woman from this scientific field will deliver scientific talks within the institute colloquia of the IOM. After the talks, there will be an opportunity to talk to the researchers.

The lectures begin at 1:30 p.m. and take place in the IOM lecture hall in building 18. Site map
