PSE2024 - 2-5 September 2024 - is the most important European event in plasma and surface technology. In Erfurt, Germany, leading international scientists from various disciplines will present the latest research results and innovations. The focus will not only be on basic research, but also on topics relating to applications such as tribology, optics, biotechnology, simulation, AI and predictive modelling, as well as the sustainability of batteries and hydrogen as energy storage in the field of renewable energies.
PSE 2024 would like to honour Prof Dr Andre Anders - CEO of the Leibniz Leibniz Institute of Surface Engineering (IOM) Leipzig, Germany - with the prestigious PSE Leading Scientist Award 2024, which recognises his outstanding achievements and influence in the scientific community. His work has been significant in advancing our understanding in his field and opening new pathways for future research.
In the PSE AWARD 2024 session, Prof Dr Michael Thomas, Fraunhofer IST, Chairman of EJC/PISE, will present the award to the laureate.
