On June 20, 2025, the IOM was represented with an information stand at the first JobCafé of the Faculty of Physics and Earth System Sciences at the University of Leipzig. From 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., interested students had the opportunity to talk to our young scientists at Linnéstraße 5. Many visitors took advantage of the opportunity to find out about the IOM and entry-level opportunities in research – from student assistant positions to topics for master's and doctoral theses to career prospects in science. The focus was on personal and open exchange: no formal applications, but lots of curious questions and lively discussions. We would like to thank everyone who visited us and look forward to seeing you again – perhaps soon at the IOM!
