This year, the IOM welcomed its guests digitally and interactively for the first time. Online fun from home, because remote mode offered insights into a high-tech ion beam facility and the experience of an escape game in the membrane laboratory. With the support of Escape Leipzig, our experts made it possible to present science live and differently as so-called 'avatars' with the camera! The two offers "With ion beams to the rainbow" and "Thirsty - Trapped in the lab" were repeated live every hour on the evening of July 16 and lasted 20 minutes each. In total, there were 5 runs from 6 pm until about 11:30 pm, which could also be followed via livestream.
