On November 26, 2025, the IOM was represented at the University of Leipzig's “Future Paths: Physics” event in the auditorium of the Physics Faculty. The bilingual mini career fair offered students an excellent opportunity to get to know regional companies and research institutions that offer internships, student jobs, or prospects for graduates.
Our team presented the IOM at its own information stand and provided insights into the institute's diverse fields of research. We were particularly pleased by the great interest shown by students from the fields of physics, but also chemistry, biochemistry, and biology, who wanted to learn more about scientific career opportunities at the IOM.
The fair was accompanied by a varied supporting program, including a company pitch and a lively panel discussion.
