IOM Research Team wins Founder's Prize at Leipzig Founders' Night

The team 'NanoTubeTEC' around Sabrina Friebe, Astrid Kupferer, Philine Jauch and Suzanne Arnold could successfully prevail against 34 teams and individuals at the idea competition of the Leipzig Founders' Night, on 15.11.2021 and won the Founders' Prize in the category 'Idea', which is endowed with 3,000.00 Euros. In the Founders' Duel, NanoTubeTEC, a start-up project of the Leibniz Institute of Surface Engineering (IOM) at the University of Leipzig, convinced the audience with the development of substrates that ensure organotypic long-term culture of different tissues to improve drug research and identify patient-specific therapy options.

The Leipzig Founders' Night 2021 was organized by the partners City of Leipzig, SMILE - die gründungsinitiative, the districts of Leipzig and North Saxony, Stadt- und Kreissparkasse Leipzig and Startbahn 13 - Die Gründungsberatung at HTWK Leipzig.
