The publication „Modeling and experimental comparison of the plasma jet induced etch front for subsurface damage determination“ has been selected as the June Editor’s Pick by the Journal of the European Optical Society.
With this distinction, the Editor-in-Chief highlights one particularly outstanding paper each month. The journal covers the latest developments and technologies in optics and photonics, making it an important source of information for the optics community in Europe.
Following the selection of another publication of the research team in March of last year, a paper from the research area of „Ultra-precision surfaces / Ion beam and plasma jet based ultra-precision surface figuring“ has now once again received this special recognition.
The publication was originated as part of the F.O.M. IGF project No. 01IF22724N. The project was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) as Program for the Promotion of Industrial Collaborative Research (IGF), based on a resolution of the German Bundestag.
